The Inist Training-DoRANum service has published a DoRANum resource in the form of an online serious game.
In this mini-game, you will help the linguistics researcher Sylviane, to check that her data are ready to be deposited in the Ortolang platform.
“SOS Sylviane” takes the form of a conversation between two fellow linguistic researchers:
- Sylviane, a researcher who has never yet deposited her data in a data platform,
- and Mareva, her colleague who has already deposited research data in the Ortolang platform.
Through their conversation, you’ll have to answer a dozen questions to guide and help Sylviane verify that her data is ready to be deposited in the Ortolang platform.
Initially available in the course entitled « La diffusion des données de recherche en linguistique », it has been decontextualized from the course to become a resource in its own right: Checking your data before depositing it: Vérifier ses données avant de les déposer : un exemple ludique en linguistique.
